# What is Thinaer?
Thinaer is an operational visibility platform that connects physical operations to digital systems. We specialize in solving the technical complexity of getting real-world physical assets, equipment, and environments connected and visible in your digital infrastructure.
### **How does Thinaer work?**
Thinaer handles the deployment of IoT infrastructure and delivers operational visibility in three steps:
**Connect** - We deploy the right hardware for your environment, including BLE, RFID, UWB, LoRaWAN, or GPS sensors. We establish network connectivity through wired, WiFi, or 5G connections based on your infrastructure.
**Visualize** - Our Sonar application provides real-time visibility through maps, alerts, and dashboards so you can monitor operations immediately.
**Evolve** - Your operational data flows to any system you choose through standard MQTT and REST APIs, enabling you to use the analytics and AI tools that fit your needs.
