Assets are tracked through a combination of sensors, gateways, and software that work together to capture and deliver operational data.

The Tracking System Components

Sensors & Beacons - We attach sensors to your assets based on tracking requirements. Options include BLE beacons for proximity tracking, RFID tags for inventory, UWB devices for precision location, LoRaWAN sensors for long-range monitoring, or GPS trackers for outdoor assets. Sensors can capture location, movement, temperature, humidity, vibration, and other environmental conditions depending on the use case.

Gateways - Gateways receive signals from sensors and transmit data to our servers for processing. We configure connectivity based on your existing infrastructure using wired connections, WiFi networks, or cellular/5G for remote locations.

SONAR Platform - Our visualization application displays real-time asset information through interactive maps, dashboards, geofencing alerts, and search functionality.

Data Integration - Operational data flows to both SONAR and your other systems simultaneously. We provide MQTT for real-time streaming and REST APIs for standard system integration.

Typical Deployment Process

Professional deployment services are included. We assess your environment, recommend appropriate sensor types, install hardware, configure network connectivity, and validate data flow. Most deployments begin delivering data within days.
